Céline Chat is a French neo-expressionistic artist born in Hyères in 1976 and a surfer.

From 1997 till 2010, she traveled around the world in quest of other cultures, new persons to meet and in search of good waves to surf.

In 2017, she settled down in Guadeloupe and since then she pursues her work: painting and sculpture, gives arts classes to convey her passion to thers and acts in her community to promote the artistic creation and the culture of Surf.

Playing with the popular symbols, her work is also inspired by its childhood memories and she uses her many journeys and her environment to feed her inspiration.

Invited to solo shows and collective exhibitions in Europe, in the Caribbean, in Brazil and in the United States, she also realizes monumental works in sculpture and in painting.
